Ghee Mysore Pak is a melt-in-the-mouth, delicious sweet that originated in the kitchens of Mysore palace.

It is made by cooking besan (kadalai maavu) in sugar syrup along with ghee. 'Pak' or 'Paka' means sugar syrup and hence the name Mysore Pak for this rich sweet.
